A workstation sink has a ledge built into the basin itself — boards, racks, and bowls slide along it and sit over the water. Prep, rinse, and drain all happen in the same footprint, and when you’re done everything lifts out and the counter is clear again.
This one goes a step further. Most workstation sinks have a single track. The RVH8222 has a patented two-tiered ledge — two levels of track stacked one above the other — so accessories can be used at two heights at once. A cutting board can sit on the upper tier while a colander drains below it.
It’s a 16-gauge sink, which is thicker steel than most residential sinks use. That’s the difference between a basin that flexes and rings and one that feels solid when you set a heavy pot in it.
